Revised Shade RR5+ Template

Ok seeing as my stupid modem wont allow me to clock up some rps been looking for ways to improve my Shade's rr5+ template ... im aiming for...

1. Maximum Dps 10/10/8 melee bonus +11 cs/blades/cd 100 str
2. As much AF Bonus/Hp/Con as is possible w/o restricting 1.
3. High as is possible w/o restricting 1. or 2. Relevant Shade resists
4. As many Toys as possible on template aka Spec af item/Battler/Malice/Som/RoD abilities
5. As much Dex as is possible on a bladeshade w/o restricting any of the above ... 365 Buffed on an Elf with 10 dex @ creation

Some may disagree with my view but ive gimped body to 18% as its only relevant against 2 classes and with 28% composite with cl grp heals/sists spec i see the above points as more important to an all-rounded solo nightshade :D

All comments welcome and ways to improve are as always appreciated ... also i have all the items except SC so givf tailor to do em plIx ;)

Good to see your viewpoint and that you have rationalised your choice but I cant see how you would think crush was more important than body. Every single fight against assasins it will mean more damage taken from poison. Apart from that it is not really correct to claim its relevant against two classes as I cannot believe you wont run into cabbies and sorcs out there as both are obviously using body lifetaps. In my opinion you would be far better off changing that crafted crush into body. Oh and nice template btw :p

what he means is he only needs body resist for assasins, and even then, he has remedy every 5 minutes that negates it.

however he is overlooking mincer DDs.

aye but if he keeps his CL resist up gives him 28 Body which is still better than base :) so i think it look decent

you got 40 SCed dex in there mate, cant remember exactly, but its either 0.5%, or 1% more chance to evade for 40 dex, you would alrdy have something like 48%+ even without that 40 dex, imo drop the SCed dex and replace with sists and maybe 7 qui if you can fit it in.

40 dex is 1%, luri with 10 dex or qui at creation wearing that 80 dex 42 quick suit with no augs gives 47.7% evade :)

Hmm i dunno , ive used 365 dex to rr5 and tbh i cant help but feel against tanks/assasins that i will get raped because of lower evade etc :( But IF its only 1% then ill prolly drop the 41 odd dex ... 320-330 dex ... ugh :p

I could cap body then and maybe get a small amount of cold ...

But imo casters arent something i really calculate into these things as i never go for a caster unless im landing pa/bs2 and 90% of the time they are toast tbh .

But if a caster wants to add on my fight its game over anyway :s

i have 315 dex as blades atm, and i cant say i've noticed any differnce at all from when i had 384 as a pierce shade. by rights if that equation is right, i should have nearly 2% less chance to evade, but like i say, its not noticable.

Well now ive changed template so that ...

372 Hp instead of 368
0 dex on sc instead of 41
7% cold now on template 17% composite+10% passive resist on hib leather
25% Body 35% with cl sist

Also leaving Qui @ 42/243 buffed ... will pick up aug qui 1 for 247 and respeccing bot for red haste and with 8% melee spd thats good enough for me :D

If u cant afford uber items on broadband and i can playing 2 days a week then ;)

But all said if u cant afford zahur/kracken then use girdle of thunder or the belt that gives 80 hp cap or the 2nd bracer i use + cb str or con ... i only use zahur for more af bonus anyways

orly .. seen as i just checked hits and i seem to have +8 more hits than u .. and with the right version of gov in it (cheers neff) all toa bonuses are capped.. ur move jimmeh :p

with CL resists its pretty ok (atleast thats what i think :))

High dex for blades template i know. but the items which fitted my template quite nicely all had dex for some reason :>

only have to swap gloves(with 8env) for +11 envenom (last ws/con debuff)
killed quite some higher RR assasins with it (not hard to find them when your RR4 ;))
got 250qui buffed (even tho Loki says i would have 249 buffed).. some bug with SoM i have. SoM gives me 16qui instead of 15.. weird.. oh well :)

and playing from a alb view these past couple of months. i have come to the decision.

Hibs are the biggest zergers. those [uber leet people, who have respectable RR titles after their name, thunderer silverhand/bantierna] who stand at crau and rape any solo'r for 7-8 hours strait are just bleh.... sorry had to get that off my chest.

hi horlely! noobinsumthingorother, and the rest of cla :< and that ranger, whos allways in a stealth zerg decent RR begins with a K , dont wanna mis it up for some one else ;x

i cant see how 370 hits is lower than ur 290 hits :p

At next patch heaters will go from +15% to +5% vs leather, atm is a very nice template effective resist vs heat 10% effective resist vs cold 12%, at next patch will change to 20% heat and 12% cold, you'll need higher cold or smart enemies will hit you postpatch nerf with cold weapons as hard as now with heat weapons.

As i said in an earlier post ive dropped dex off sc to give ...
+7% Cold resist
+4 Hp
+7% Aka effective capped Body resist

Beat +11 cs/blades/cd , 10/10/8 melee bonus , +26 str cap/10 con cap/172 hp cap and as many toys and ill say its a better template than mine ... oh and no resist below 5% as my lowest is now matter 6%/cold 7%/energy 8% ...

Yes I know, but as any dmg bonus higher than 5% will be nerfed to 5% you'll get this:

heat 25% -5% = 20%
cold 7% +5% = 12%

cold LW users will hit you almost as hard at next patch as heat LW users at this one. but it's yet too soon to worry about it, GoA will release 1.83 and 1.84 together I bet :)

Tbh i thought this was still on the table and i didnt know if it was to be taken as a given ...

Might rework template for 15% Heat/Cold/Energy/Matter ... dunno if im brave enough to invest in a new template before the patch where this happens now :( Nerf i wanted +11 cd template pwnzorre ><

What i understood it is

heat 25% -5% = 20%
cold 7% +10% = 17%
Resistant armor doesnt get nerf only weak get boost.
