I'm a big retro fan. I play my SNES, Mega Drive, SMS and about as much as anything else. Anyone else into retro consoles?

I play Super Mario Kart on ZSNES emulation now and then. It allows you play 2 players on the net which is a laff.

To be honest, most of the classic 16-bit stuff is being *refreshed* on GBA these days and I play them on that.

Aye, I would play a lot more emulations of Snes games, but don't have a decent joypad (FPS and RPG PC Gamer - no need for em), and cba to buy one :)

I've just bought a bundle of 3 different megadrives and some games from Ebay. I also have a master system I got at a boot fair for about 2 quid a few weeks back. I'm trying to recapture a lost youth...... heh.

TEH WINNAH!!!.....again!

I just went out and got a Sega Saturn + 1 Controller + 5 games (Sega rally, Manx tt, tunnel B1, Wipeout, worlwide soccer 97) for 25 quid.

I had a quick look on ebay before I snatched it up and it seems I got a reasonable deal here. I'm after another controller so I put a few bids in on Ebay.

Did you know SF2 Alpha3 sells for over 45 quid???

I've heard that the Saturn is the best for near arcade perfect replicas at home. :) Sounds good to me.

You could...

Grab yourself a chipped xbox and use mame - they just got a port working. Then you do get the arcade perfect rom.

Wow, didn't expect many people to be interested.

*dons purple suit and sticks a feather in his hat*

Well, anyone wanting to chat UK retro gaming (or any gaming for that matter) might wanna check out The Gaming Highlands, we are only a few days old and are looking for some Brits to bring our board to life. Sorry to be a pimp but I figured here was a good place to look for new members. Link is in my Sig.

Thank you
