Oh well, its time for me to leave the game. DAoC is a really good game, it's so good that it makes you forget to value real life, and im afraid since i've played this game the important things in my life gets pushed aside. After i had some serious discussions with some friends i've made my descision. Anyways i think the problem is that i've been taking the game too serious, thinking that actually it is real life, when its all fake, every town, every place, every person. Sure there is alot of feelings involved, but the day you deciede to quit, *poof* its gone. And THEN you will have to deal with real life. Oh well maybe thats just me, but i seriously think if you spend more time in a computer game than real life, something is wrong.

Here is some people i would send out a big thank you too, for spending time with me most of my time in this stupid game

Thanks to all mids/hibs for owning my ass so many times.

Really hope you guys have fun with DF (wonder how the legion is like), Epic armors and stuff but here is where it ends, at least for me. /waves

It's not black/or white, this game is perfectly to combine with rl. (And when u are lvl 50 it's really easy too) So buy your account back, take a holiday and spend some less hours behind PC and go read Vogue or Cosmopolitan

Seriously, wtf is this? I don't know how many times I've told you that rl-crap as girls and "real friends" are unimportant but it's quite a few. So you talked to some friends that whined about you playing to much, screw them; what about me?

My suggestion is this, get a shrink to prescribe you some valium or prozac or, if possible, something stronger, after that you turn on and tune in. Real life will fade away and what's important (doing nothing but play daoc) will be possible without disturbances.

Seriously Mati, get a grip and a new account and come back, I'll pwrlvl your char with you. If you are as stubborn as I fear you are you leave me with no choice but to wish you good luck in the future. Fucking sad to see you go.

Matinex, I understand you completely..

I am still on vacation in South-America and it has made me see things kinda different.. The game is a game that should be enjoyed when you have time to spare, not to be played instead of doing things in real-life.

Still, I know what you mean ... I didn't play all weekend or Monday ... I decided to let real life take over for a long weekend, and it was damned good.

I went and bought the LoTR DVD a couple of hours ago, so there's at least another evening I won't be playing. Yep! Real life is good!
