I have beaten Sotha (RR2 minstrel) - RR2 is not unbeatable.
I have beaten her when she used IP, I have lost when he didn't IP - the difference is hardly noticeable.

Spellcraft grants +36 to all stats, +5 skill, +96 HP, +13 resists. Buffbot grants: +75 (str/dex/con) and +45 (qui/pie). Augmented stat III (2L0) gives 10 more points than aug stat II (1L4) to one single stat. RR2 also gives +1 skill. True, you can buy other skills as well at RR2, but things like IP and Vanish aren't that overpowered. Vanish only lets you live longer, a similar effect to IP can be achieved by healpots and this or this on a faster re-use timer.

I hope it's clear now: buffbot and/or sc > RR2. Why do you complain about RR2 in Thidranki and not about those two? I think the cap is just there so after a while (350 rp's) people keep playing Thidranki just for fun and no longer feel the need to kill everything they see. I like it this way: otherwise groups would let solo'ers live even less and duels would always end in one side dead instead of both backing off when one/both is nearly dead.

To Chronic: your RR5 comparison doesn't work, sorry. It's just wrong in every single aspect. RR2 is not unbeatable, RR5 is (in your example, I wouldn't think it's unfair if ithe character was still beatable). RR2 also grants much less of an advantage than RR5 does.

Sotha is beatable BECAUSE she is a mincer, mincers are not good in thid vs equally equipped oponents they simply dont have the dmg output.
Im not even 24 and i managed to get her to 10% after IP

More to the point: yes, he also uses a bot and a spellcraft, but stop focusing on that one point which isn't even the most important then. I am merely pointing out that RR2 isn't the determining factor. He doesn't beat people solely because he's RR2, he beats people because he's got a bot, sc, RR2 and knows his class. True, it all adds up, but the share of RR2 in all of this is negligible. It is not RR2 which makes you lose, it is the sum of all these factors.

If Brokeninfiltrator uses vanish when you get him to x% hp you effectively have won, haven't you? You just don't get the message 'You just killed Brokeninfiltrator', but I personally play for the duel and not for the deathmessage. I don't see what the fun in getting a deathblow is, it only gives annoying exp and forces the other to return all the way he travelled before you killed him. If you play for the deathmessages I can see your point though, it must be quite annoying then .

like myself... Most of the time i wish i had Charge1 so i can slap some Sorc's....

Most of the rr2 ppl are nice and are there for the solo fights....

I have never seen Broken act improper, always galant and fair-atleast to me, even before I got to know him. To Omegah, Namefake, Aeva; if you know him irl and think he's a jerk, fine. BB, sc,heal pots,insta heal gems is easy to get. RR2 only takes a night or two leeching with siege-equip should you want it.
