Cave shammys do alot for a group/realm if played correctly.

a cave specced shaman in my experience tends to be quite useless without their dot. bring that dot to a group and mr mob not only dies faster, but hurts people less - which leaves more time to hurt mrs mob and son mob and daughter mob

i agree its quite frustrating playing a tank without endurance regen - but pre 1.54 midgard had to, i think you should be thankful some people choose to play the shaman character 'differently' from the suddenly popular expectation - each spec is just as valid and potentially dangerous in its own right

what would people say when you get grouped with two (or more) shamans both aug specced? no doubt complain that they are "gimped" and should have specced differently

if a person is ignorant/arrogant enough to refuse grouping with a person because they arent specced soley for doing what you want or how you like it, then i wouldnt want to join that group anyway

ive said it before somewhere: people have feelings and monsters dont, be loyal to the group and they'll be loyal to you - change the monsters not the group...otherwise you'll be a lonely level 50th

spiritmasters used to be good for pulling...now look at the funky things they do find out the strengths of the character rather than assuming (and expecting) them

ive had the most fun in thrown together groups, not groups that "should" be a lethal combination

Can still be a cave shaman AND get decent buffs and healing.
My template is 23 aug, 46 cave and 16 mend. With max bonus to mend from items, my healing is quite sufficient. End regen 3 is also all you need, BUT recasting it all the time DOES drive me crazy:-/ Cave rocks because STILL people aren't getting much matter resist. The single dot is body, but the spec dd, bolt and ae dot are all matter. I don't get much penalty to my damage in rvr with it. Shaman is an uber support char and can help kill loads of enemies very well. Mezes usually don't stick too good anyway, so might as well get some ae powahh while healer ae stuns. Not the best for all situations, but nothing is.

A shaman without cavespecc is useless in rvrgroup when u can fill that spot with a pachealer instand and still have the buffs from a buffbot at mpk ^^

Well my shamen rocks and i dont care what anyone says,i will duel just about anyone once at least if they wanna try me i dont mind,i can take a beating in rvr and make a difference,and i can also replace a healer in a xp group,if ppl learn to MOVE from a rooted mob I like doing all sorts of activitys with her but still need that blaasted ra ichor to be reduced in ra point cost,has any shamens on mid actually got it btw ? And whats it like cus at 14 points i couldnt see much point to it tbh

Acutally a non cave spec shamen that has mend/aug spec is pretty good for a group cus of a set of mean health regen spells both single and for a group they can turn the any fight and save a healers pow if used right.For a group pve shamen ie pre lev 50 i recommend 27 mend for both group health regen and a nice 91 pertick single target regen spell too very nice used then until i was lev 49 then respeced to more cave equally nice

I ppl should spec their chars like they see fit, and not having some twat telling them that their spec sucks
