Yes frankie. You save up all your pocket money and buy a mint 328i. 20 grand is probably a good amount to start aiming for.
Then I shall laugh as you try to put your foot down going round a corner and promptly oversteer into a wall.
I was scared going from our old 325i to our 328i. Imagine what it would be like going to a 328i from a nova SR.
Basically frankie, there is no way in hell you are going to be able to afford to buy, insure and run a 328i. In fact, I doubt you'll even get insured until you are about 25. And seeing as insurers take intelligence into account, better make that 35. If you're lucky.
yeah E30 shaped beemaz are quite nice.. I wouldn't do much to it, keep the looks std apart from BM M3 Sport bumpers, 17" Alpina style wheels, lowered suspension and a posh twin exhaust with 2.5" pipes.
Can't say thats gay really... it'd have to be a 325i tho, creamy smooth mamma's, quite cheap too.
Handling big cars isn't the issue bodhi was pointing out. He meant big cars with BIG engines too. 318i is slow as shite, so are mondeo's.
You still won't insure a 328i though. The insurance company will take one look at you, one look at your age, one look at your modifications, listen to your common, paupers accent, and say "sorry sir, can you fuck off?"
I hate those pikeys that buy shitty BMWs and think that putting "M3 style" wing mirrors on, and taking the boot badge off, will make people think it's decent, and not a 316.
If you can't afford an Alpina you really shouldn't pretend, coz you just delude yourself :/
Calibra is a shockingly average car. It's not opinion, it's fact. Hardly surprising, as it's basically a Cavalier with a new body. Handling is dull and unresponsive. If you don't believe me, read just about any review of it.
Incidentally, I like your attempt at an insult. "I'm not poor, I just don't waste my money on shit like you muppets do". That's a bit of an oxymoron - I mean, if you can afford to waste your money on shit, you are obviously not poor. Whereas it's pretty obvious a poor person isn't going to waste their money as they need to buy stuff like bread etc.
