Respecing and Auto training

So is it possible to get 60+ free spec points by respecing and putting them into something that has been auto-trained?

i've seen poeple do final plains for reavers using auto train

If you train a skill, and respec it, it will just drop to the lvl it would autotrain too. So you would loose thoose points below that lvl. But if you stop training a autotrain skill early on you will start to auto it when you gain more lvl's.

you get a single line respec @ 40 so with my scout i did /respec longbow to get 11 levels of longbow 'free'. Shame i could not do it at 50

you do not get anything for free,

unless you've autotrained it correctly.

With some classes you can train a non-autotrained weaponskill then respec it and switch to an autotrained skill (e.g. go crush merc to 40, respec to slash, also works for paladin and armsie) this gets you 54 "free" points.
