Respec: How many rangers went from pierce to blade? Or the opposite?

Yes, did you respec from pierce to blades or from blades to pierce? If you did, why?

I'm struggling with the same dilemma myself, having pierce atm....

My Thoughts

Since blades are strength based and pierce is dex based, my thoughts have always been blades for a Celt Ranger, pierce for an Elf Ranger.

But blades are purely strength based, my point being that an elf is likely to have a higher 50/50 str/dex than pure str therefore pierce is more efficient. For a celt his overall str is likely to be more than 50/50 of his str/dex therefore blades are more suited.

dont forget that as you lvl you gain more dex than strength, and lurikeens are the daddy when it comes to dex in hibby

I'm still eager to hear real-life (can I say that?) stories about respeccing pierce to blades or the opposite.

with good PF based blade spec .. you can get away using blades easy ..


I specced blades purely because of bonusses ( even with good reissst) vs assasin..

blade styles are good and with decent weapons .. u can do a fair bit more damage with blades . spec at least 39 blade for fire/spectrum blade anytime chain.

i specced blades .. havent looked back yet
