Resists,stats and skills

realy dont know what i should be aiming to max.
should i max resists if so what is the cap 25 or 32.
what about skills, should i cap my Sheild to +11 and slash to +11
or should i max out my str,con and dex.

realy dont have a clue which would be best, so plz help me out

Resist cap is 26. I'm concentrating on body & energy as priority, followed by cold, heat, matter and spirit in that order. Of course I might be completely wrong in doing this!

As for what to max, not sure with pallies, but as a s/s armsmen I'll be trying to get all of slash/shield/str/con and dex as close to max as I can

with full set of af102 qua 99% sc'd armor ill be capping : str,con,dex,body,cold,heat,energy,crush,slash

Can anyone post the formula to calculate the cap on stats again for a lvl 50. str, cons, dex etc ...

Caps from items are:

Attributes: Level x 1.5
Resists: (Level / 2) + 1
Skills: (Level / 5) + 1
Hit points: Level x 4
Power: (Level / 2) + 1

200 hits
75 dex con int
26 body, energy, heat, cold
26 crush, slash thrust
9 matter, 20 spirit
4 wind
50 focus earth, wind, cold

I heard some epics are quite good, the Theur epic for example!!! but i think i can get quite alot out of my epic, only needing to change a couple of pieces to max resists nicely, +skills abit and add some HP...

I use it all the time, it has previously been the spell running me dry in prolonged combats.

Besides, my aoe root is level 10 and cost 6 power. Investigate my class before trying to be clever.

To argue that I should not use focus on ice to get one spell cheap is the same as saying I should not get earth focus because EB is the only spell focus affects.
