Resistances and Stats

Hello valient Midgardians

Two questions arouse but I do not know where to find answers:

1. What are the maxed (capped) stats (charisma,hits,dex,...) for the different chars at level 50?

2. Where is the meaning of the different resistances (body,heat,...) explained? What resistance is worthwhile (especially against those casting pot-smokers and tin-recyclers...

Help appreciated ...

1. Take off your equipment. Stat without equipment + (lvl * 1.5). Now you have your max stat.

2. Resist equals lower damage done to you by spells (cold/heat/matter/body/spirit/energy) or melee weapons (crush/slash/thrust). A 10% resist in heat will make you take 10% less damage from heat spells.

http://www.gatecentral.com/daoc/doc/realmbalance_l1.php

There you see what sort of damage the different spellcasting classes do.

Resists are better than stats generally. Some are not worth as much as others. If you're a support class, heat/cold/energy should be your highest ones with high slash, crush and thrust. If you're a melee, you should try cap all (which you can't do really).
