Greetings all you midgardians on Excal. Thought I'd head over your way in the hope that someone could assist us since you have access to Gorre, and could test this before the patch is launched.

The following is a link to a SB spec thread. Included in the discussion is whether or not autotrained points are lost when your respec the stealth line, with links and quotes from Sanya at Mythic, GOA rightnow as well as some US player threads from the VN boards. Obviously this affects a few classes, some more than others.

i was reading about SB's at the time so the reference will be at stealth but just swap that for whatever your class auto

yep, you can not gain nor lose points during the respec process.

Think of it this way, you get back the exact amount of points you would need to make your current template that you had before the respec. With autotrainable skills, think of it as your trainer spends the points for you to bring your skill up to the min lvl of 1/4, so those points are deducted from your total amounts of points that the trainer gives back to you. Its just that they are spend before you get to actually spend any points so it looks like you never got them back.
