Does anyone know where the cheapest Radeon 9800 and/or 9800 Pro is available online in the UK ? Can I get a Pro cheaper than £260 or a non-pro cheaper than £215 ?

Also what make of flat-screen is bestest and cheap ? I may want one for chrimbo

Flat Screens

If used for gaming or film watching then a low response time is essential. Also many early TFTs suffered from being to "dull" as in they did wee not bright enough compared to many CRTs. Nowadays this is not a problem if you buy a good reputable brand.

Illyama i have heard from close friends are as good at flat screens as they are at CRTs.

Hitachi are also have a good reputation for low response times and good quality picture quality/brightness.

Sorry it isn't very indepth as i don't actually own a TFT myself, so my information is based on reviews and peoples experiences.

Iiyama make excellent TFTs, probably not the cheapest though but worth the money in my opinion.

Xane's just bought his dad one, so he may know where to get it cheap....
