Remove mezz or stun?

What would be best

1. Remove stun completely

2. Remove mezz completely

3. Remove stun and make mezz on 20 sec

4. Remove mezz and make stun 5 sec

Root would only slow u down 75% and slowly decrease to a maximum of 30 secs.

discuss!

Mezz and long stuns just dont fit into the daoc story according to me. I cant quiet remember any medieval battle where one army made the other army sleep for a few minutes, so they could be all butchered one by one. And its just so annoying to die without being able to fight back. I dont mind dying , but at least let me fight for my life. Being the one that mezzes and gets the kills is slightly less annoying, but only because of the rps recieved.

I dont like stealthers either, but at least they fit into the context of the game, so I can live with them.

i can't remember a medieval battle where any spells were cast :p

Oh and to answer : I think it's pretty fine as it is, just remove grapple and im happy

then it would remove more of the little skill there is left with cc...

And yea landing mezz first is/ winning the starting interupt war is ofc very important, and winning that is prove your better no?

Nono you dont see it. the mezz is a simulation of people attacking at night.

Let's delete Alb's Melee classes, Hib's Healing classes, and Mid's mage classes, add what's left over into all 3 realms, making 3 identical realms.

Sounds like fun \o/

only insta's ingame should be dd's and debuff's. make all stun/mez castable.

1. remove 1850 range mezz :D

2. givf instand mezz to poor albs ( :flame: )

3.REMOVE GP (ffs that t00k hibs to rr11) !!!!!!1111111111 <------------before NF i mean :D so they dont have 5min recast purge (i would love to c that ) !!

4.Dont let dmg casters have stun :D (call me enchanter)

remove mezz = zergs are now uncontended, but say if you removed aoe-mezz, and then to alleviate the zerg thing, gave ppl dmg reductions or similar if there were more ppl from your realm in a 1500 or 2k radius ?

Anyone who wants 2 play epic MEDIEVIL battles should try to find MEDIEVAL TOTAL WAR n all its xpantions n mods.

There is a mod of battlefield 1942 w castles n knights

N soooo many other games of strategy....

but classes w mez, stun, root, snare r in MOST RPGs

Remove all AE CC imo.. the best fights i have ever had was when both grps fecked up the CC. (or GP is up xD)

neither, all of em are crap suggestions. no cc wuld be rediculous and take alot of fun out of the game.

Remove a mincers insta-stun, aswell as stun off hippie casters. If you get near a caster and you don't use a stunning combat style for whatever reason, you're pretty much doomed tbh... (and in response to this, perhaps remove AE stun from Healers...or make the cast time 5 secs or something!)
Group purge is just a stupid idea...you should only be able to get it through realm skill points as originally intended.

Original suggestion is stupid, it's not as if CC is everything. It is important, yes, but winning mezz is no guarantee that you will win the fight.

Yes? This is how it works now--GP is an RA.

i cant see why anyone would want to remove ae CC, fights would be too chaotic..

think about it for a while. you would loose efficient ways to stop mages high damage output and it would be like playing CS or something, whoever nukes first wins etc

tbh mezz is ok maybe not insta's but just castable mezz and remove AE stun cos it doesnt make sense.

so..remove AE stun remove insta mezz and reduce the duration of the mezz would make every fight more fun..
