Remember when?

Nobody knew there way around. (ok some of us still dont).

You stumbled across path farm & there were 5 full groups pulling there.

The music during the loading screen gave you a little tingle of anticipation.

You joined your first guild.

You could RVR at level 15

You could RVR at level 30

Nobody talked about Fins

You saw your first Ram

There was a handfull of level 50's

You found Muire Tomb

A guy came up to your level 2 char and just gave you stuff.

You got your first Guild Emblem.

Your Guild takes its first keep.

Just some things that stick out for me.

Isnt it amazing how a game like this changes over time. I really wouldnt want to start an MMORPG at any other time than day 1.

I will once there is a good alternative, and if it sucks i have had that part, skipped the rest and is back to daoc where i belong

I was a void eld, i soloed most of the way through the lowbie lvls.
I remember gettin to lvl 20 and thinkin i was super high lvl. Those were the days.

Fond memories of my time in Hib...

I remember my first ranger Astara grouping with Karlo, Prax, Shh and Muirob (thier original owners), we were level 5 and decided to go exploring Hib - got lost in Lough Gur cause of prax's (Zark) crap sense of direction (which he still has) and got pasted by some uber-purple mobs we thought we'd never be high enough level to kill - they turned our for be Irewood Saplings - lol only level 24 or sommit like that.

There was also Gwon, Azalin, Fidissair and I...getting pl'd by Oggy - who'se dr00d (and pet Fluffy) was uber - We TD miss him alot :/

and my personal favourite was the time Zark and Lloth went to Odin's for the first time - we wandered round for what seemed like 2 hours not a soul to be seen - we decided to head back home, but when we got to our pk we got hopped on by loads of Albs - we were shouting in /gc that Alb's had taken hpk...when in fact Zark's superb sense of direction had indeed taken us to the wrong keep...

had some great times back then, solo'd my way to lvl 13 didnt grp and didnt know about KT's, got to parth farm started grouping with Emer and Fair and Riaza, done walking rocks at lvl 18, can still remember when i asked Emer if i could join his guild <Axiom Knights> those two took off levelling really fast but still let me grp with em so i got PL'd quite a bit, i remember grouping with vantros, emer, fair, shawlin, marionne, riaza in collory, still remember shawlin suiciding off DC wall, and somewhere i still have the chatlog that i recorded by accident
dont see emer anymore and hardly ever speak to fair, lost track of sahwlin for a while, and i just found out a couple of days ago that shawlin = Nuked LOL, was a great time back then <cry> i miss it.

When Poch tried to root pull in CM

When seeing a lvl 50 was a real event, and when yer rvr group was joined by a lvl 50 how everyone went Gratz mad

Rangers united, find a patch of trees, you would always find a ranger soloing (usually Hothnogg)

Remember when it was very safe to xp in the frontier?

Remember when void elds pwned in rvr?

Remember when hardly anyone really knew what a mentalist did?

Remember yellow and blue buffs?

Remember when Bee used to roam Coloroy?

Remember how easy Bee was to kill if u could find him?

Remember when relic raids wouldnt crash the zone?

Remember every other deth msg you saw in rvr was such-and-such was killed by Eleasias (apologies if i spelt it wrong)?

Remember when Effendor ran the show in Thid?

Remember when people actually went to BG2?

Remember when Asmodan ran the show in rvr?

Remember when all hibs were nice to each other and flaming was what they did at BK (Burger King), not BW?

TdD having the top xp group at the beginning until like level 30... Cam, Kin, Vou, Renshai and the crew...

Getting accepted into CF when Rip took us on a tour near to those huge dinosaurs (name escapes me), and being elated \o/

Balnor killing Sun for the first time as he was camping DL with his crew.

NP murdering us in rvr for the very first time when we were ~27 on the ridge, and us all going WHAT THE FUCK THEY ARE ALL PURPS!

Tina C being a massive cunt on old forums.

Fatbelly making gorge his.

Gaya (love him!) taking CF on a trip to Yggdra for the first time to slaughter mids! (The first time i actually got to see lower than purple con enemies).

Champs owning with that str/con debuff. lots of whines about it (reducing peeps to -30 CON)

Me thinking loff was a complete wanker the first time i ever met him (ordering me around in gorge)

First encounter with TC. it was like.... OMFG WE JUST DID 3 URSINES!!!!

Lews trying to make us kill stone golems the whole time so he could get that damn LW

Being with Tylar when he was first hib at 40! Then being with him when he realised goa hadn't put in the new epics from 40 upwards yet
