hehe, remember me and a m8 playing Steet Fighter on the Amiga600 and writing down ownerships and league things, was pretty wack, think we had 3-4 sheets of paper with listings and such, turned it into a manager sort of game of pwnage

It is indeed! ohh how I loved that game, especially that level in the screenshot (facility).

No idea how I liked it looking back, it was buggy, had crappy AI and teh controls where about as annoying as they could be, but I did love that game, for a long while it was my favorite

And think... 10 years ago and today.,.. What happens in 10 years ago?

I've always been thinking like this, every time I see something that totally floors me, like Oblivion's graphics, HL2 graphics when I first saw them, and a few moments in other games like CoD2 and FEAR, I couldnt help but wonder what it would be like in 10, 20 or 30 years from now, I wonder what others will think when they look back at HL2 and wonder how I could find it that good.

Its really exciting at the moment - every 5 seconds you seem to hear of new standards being set in graphics and gameplay, every one just as exciting as the last.

I'm content to wait for whatever the future brings though, I'm happy as I am, but no doubt in the future I'll be even more so

Well i guess eventually we will get photorealistic game gfx, and after that i guess its time to start working on virtual reality setups, or even direct neural interfaces etc. Gonna need a new standard of processors first though, it wont be that long now until we have reached the physical limits of the current technology.

i dont like the idea of photo realistic graphics, i like a a game to look like a game. i remember going round a mates house to play sonic the hedgehog, the graphics blew me away, i was playing Call of Cthulhu the other day (made by the same people as oblivion) the intro ended and i was sat there thinking it had crashed, infact it was the in-game graphics, amazing stuff. got to love bloom

While the graphics keep getting better the games keep getting worse (imo).
Give more (Squaresoft) Square-Enix games
Old school RPGs generally have a better story line and gameplay today they focus most on the graphics and just kinda ignore the gameplay just because they want to show off in some game magazines so people buy the game.

Im Hopin they bring fnial Fantasy one xbox cause i aint able to get a ps3 and thats the only game i wont on it but hell atleast they bringing FFXI on it the Graphics nowadays are great and should have a tiny little improvement but if ya get any mroe Realistic its not really a game of Fantasy like games are suppose to be for example if i saw a real life guy shooting a fire bal out of his hands i would think i could do that and forget it was a game...
