Dan Hartman is not the black guy singing in the video btw (I think the black guy is not singing, he could be but he's not Dan Hartman), but you can see the same song with Dan Hartman for real in another video here.

BTW, he's made the most beautiful ballads... and e.g. "Living in America" for James Brown (co-effort with Charlie Midnight).
