Regarding Hit Points and constitution.

Started to mess about with my items this afternoon and noticed that my capps in certain areas were..basically pants.

Epic armour and items off, was looking at 1045 HP, 85 Str, 120 Con
Epic on gave : 1311 HP, 152Str, 179 Con
Epic + Items : 1530 HP, 160 Str, 195 Con

Tried swap and change some items around and saw that there is alot of +hits being wasted because either my cap or my sodding stats.

Wondering what sort of con= what sort of HP, and how to maximise my items for unwasted stats?

Also, think there should be a change to the piety writings about paladins, does sod all and am sure alot of paladins invested 5 or more points in this at the start. Know there is a taunt that is supposedly going to use piety, but it has been a long bloody time and for me personally, and am sure alot of paladins would agree, id like those points moving to my base con or str ;)

I was playing around with con items today and figured that for a minstrel 10con=31hp though Levin tried the same thing and it was less for him (i think 21?) so check for your class

Well, as for the piety use, in patch 1.53 it finally gets a use thanks to the new endurance regen chant and the combo resist chants. They both use power and your power pool depends on the piety you have so the higher your piety the longer you will be able to run end regen chant.

Just get +75 con and +200 hp in items and you'll be fine. ;)

if someone had 100 con with 1000 hitpoints and another person with 150 con with 1000 hitpoints. would they take the same amount of damage? (wondering if con does anything apart from hitpoints)

Dmg you take depends on your armour (AF, absorbe rate = type of armour) basicly. Check how high the Armour number is under the main character menu (with the stats of str, con, ...). It also depends if you have Bunker of Faith on or not (as a cleric) or the AF chant of the paladin. Dmg also depends on the strength, weapon, .... of the opponent(s).
Maybe forgot something here, neway con does not affect your AF.

FYI it has been stated by mythic as a description of constitution that is reduces the damage you take. There is no hidden "Tanks take less damage-table". There is a hidden "Tanks dish out more damage-table".

I will hit paladins and armsmen for the same damage if they have the same stats. Male I think u have this damage-table issue confused

sanya said con does affect the amount of damage you take per hit, but its pretty negligable.

Pure tanks get 4hp for each con point, hybrids around 3, afaik.

Light tanks in some cases have as much hp as proper tanks...

I got 28 hp for 10 con, in the example that Medea gave above.

Con gives more hp and a faster hp regen rate i think.. You cant keep putting con items on as the con gets capped eventually.. My healer is capped on around 220 with my buffs
