Reformatting Question

ok, i have 3 HDisks in my comp, first one is standard HDD and the other two are set up as a RAID 0, so was wondering...if i try and reformat the first disk, delete the partition and reformat, will it cause me to lose all info on the RAID aswell?

No


If your first disk is not part of the raid set you will not loose the raid set when formatting it.
