RedHat have effectively ditched their consumer line for the prime time of the enterprise. The smarts of this are smart indeed, if you're a RH manager that is heheh. The free Linux continues on in Fedora, a RedHat semi-endorsed thingymagig.

no, it's a natural evolution caused by Mr Joe Average Homeuser being exposed to a 95% marketshare of MS products. Their brain functions grind to halt in a manner second only to 12yo's sitting behind their PS/2's for 18 hours per day.

Reading the article, everything he says makes perfect sense. It does, however, seem to be a rarely honest stance from someone running a software company.
