The time for me to leave DICE has come. This won't really be a big deal to you all, I'm sure, since in your eyes, I'm mostly inactive anyways. I've had alot of problems with the way the corp has been run; I've made suggestions, filed complaints, pitched a fit, nothing happens. DICE has lost its way, and I don't want to be around for the death rattle. On top of that, you seem to not really value a particular demographic of this corp: The French Wing. Yeah, it's great and all to take the piss, but if people are offended, we shouldn't so carelessley give them the "fuck off" response. Threre's a difference between acting hard-assed, versus completely disregarding people and telling them to fuck off. I made racist comments back when, everybody knows that; but when Stan said I went over the line and needed to apologize, I did. You all either forget or take for granted the amount of work FW puts in for DICE. Script treated them practically as their own sub-corp within ATUK, and to disrespect them like that is quite frankly, a steaming pile of horseshit.
So, given my time and dedication over the years, I am also taking with me the contents of the corp wallet, as well as all the highend mins currently available, fuel currently available, and tower mods. Spin it however you want, but with nearly 150b in reserve wallet, you'll survive. Not to mention, according to my observations, you should be getting another cycle of moon mins into 1-N pretty quickly.
On a final note, I want to drive this particular point home: remember Nilie, when you said during the post-Thol CEO discussions, that you'd were going to run for the office just to make me cry? How's that blood pressure now?

This just shows u never knew what this corp and comunity was all about. ATUK was fun and all that but that was then this is now DICE isent ATUK and never was atuk died with script.
Dice was Thols and many others corp, and now nillies and co that choose another path ingame. Many left and became inactive but still part of the community.
You however choose to leave like a simple theif....

One of my primary methods of management is delegation. As I've said before, most of the directorship has fallen within a specific niche, and you do your jobs expertly well. DICE has the experience, the leadership, the will, and I believe with some work, the dedication to absolutely decimate the citizens of this game we play. In my mind, there is no question at our ability for success; the only question is how many times over will we succeed. We have directors, we have members, and then we have pikers. Pikers are people who ask when the next wallet building week is. People should come to this corp for one reason: to be the best. You want to go make ISK? Go join a mining corp. DICE should be pvp'ing at another level, a level above and beyond what other corps do, be it BNC, Finfleet, RA corps, whatever.
In terms of ideas (alliance overall planning regarding MAX et al notwithstanding), I have many. The key here, is that I can list concepts rattling in my head all day long, but I can't implement them without you. Nilie made an excellent point regarding my comment to pull back to Delve; realistically, we HAVE only been up here 2.5 weeks, yes targets are a bit slow, but I think things are starting to pick up as well. I expect that if I air an idea, as a directorship the burden is on YOU to tell me your thoughts. If you think it's a great plan, fabulous, let's lay the concrete and build the fucking house. If it sucks hind teet, say so. I need talkers, thinkers, tell me to fuck off, that I'm an idiot, I'm a genius, great plan poor plan, it doesn't matter! From a delegatory standpoint, as CEO I rely on your input, your experience and your expertise. With that said, here are my ideas for the corp's future:
- Membership trimming- QD/Tiger, you make the list, be responsible for it, own the list, whatever. Get rid of the people who don't contribute. And contribute means flying, not non-participants logging in. As examples, I consider Hey You, Vlaad, and Mighty to be contributors. I consider Brian Deetah, Garmine, etc. to be piker fucking members. Step up, or gtfo, simple as that. People that want to be in DICE need to go above and beyond the usual level, step the fuck up, be smart above Eve, we should not be needing to tell members to use scouts to move ships or be wary of chokepoint systems.
- Membership training- It's great to have alot of indians, but relying on only a few chiefs to make decisions causes a breakdown. If there aren't ops going on, we need to create content and activity. Train people for scouting in particular. Offer incentives for successful people.
- Officer shakeup - under me as CEO, officers are required to step up above and beyond their existing roles, from a militaristic standpoint. Logistically, Kalthos/Pat/Kraut/etc. are doing a superbly tits job. But they're directors. Officers are not glorified members, they are given rank and priveleges, and are to work beyond the normal level of expectation. Traffic, while emo and such, does get the job done. If we need to train people to step up, start actively recruiting, whatever it takes. Whatever it takes. Reliance should not be solely on the directorship to lead DICE ops, members themselves should be competent enough to lead one another; officers, even moreso.
- Participation, communication, and future planning - Realistically, we are part of BoB, we are in my opinion, it's lifeblood. Nobody fields the cap numbers we have the potential to, and with proper motivation, I believe that that will continue, absolutely. But participation is key: whether it's small scale roaming, or large-scale capital fleets, we need more participating members. I believe in terms of communication, directors communicate well with each other, but it somewhat pitters out when in relation to members. We need to blur the lines, open up methods of communication, and make people feel more included. For future planning, I can come up with plenty of ideas, but realistically we're looking at the end of the BBQ and the launching of "Max" and what that entails. Finding potential target points is easy, and planning logistical moves to get proper supplies there is not an especially large issue. Communcation with BoB command and working their plans with ours is something I believe I can do without issue or hesitation.
- Availablity - Barring DS3 fibre lines being cut by city workers, I am available from after DT on IRC/MSN and in-game if necessary until approximately 2100. After that, I will usually plan on flying ops at around 2300 until QD's standard login of 0130'ish. Weekends should not be a problem as well (though I do have a wedding coming in a few months).
At the end of the day, this is what I can offer. I've known most of you for the majority of my Eve life, so I believe in all of you and your abilities in terms of your skill at Eve. I feel like I can bring a drive to the corp, and move us to a level above and beyond what we've previously achieved.
tl;dr version for Aman: I will delegate duties to directors while leading evening-ops and working during euro hours with alliance/corp issues, will trim membership, train membership, push harder on officers, work with bob cmd to find targets and also kill targets we choose, and promote and expect better overall participation/skill from people.

Back to Lung, apparently he always was a thief in his heart just that the idea of "knowing" someone online kept him from stealing. For me im glad to know this corp is trusting its members with assets, you cant have m8s, friends and equals amongst ppl you distrust. In short: There will always be dissapointments through iskthefts on the way dice is running but the way the corp operates is the best way to forge friendships and a community beyond isk. Trust your friends.

Like many said, ATUK or not, Eve is not the same as two years ago. MC faced the glorious days of Mothership system camping and was anihilated when they realised Eve changed. I guess Thelung wanted a different corp, should just have started one like the CEO of Shinra (forgot his name) and put us blue for a good start.

We all miss ATUK, but we mentioned this many times and we always figured out that the game has changed and there's no way back. Or at least we haven't found one. No one has ever suggested something that would change this to better/old, neither did lung. We joined BOB, we can't just leave and I doubt this would make it any better.
As for the second part. Makes me sad and makes me realise this is internet. I known him for a long time and I liked him very much, hence I still hope this is an attempt to rattle up the corp and force changes...
But in any way, it's a sad thing to do, no idea what came over him, but we all knew he was "special" and one of the few true ATUKs left in DICE. Sad to see him go in such a way, as a thief...

he stole moonminerals from our constellation--->kalthos moved alot of dysprosium to empire and sold it ,to buy new pos fuel,means lung only got prometium okay that hurts but its not end of the world.
he showed us his real face and maybe he got problems who know´s,in the end it makes us move closer to eachother and work even harder in the future: for one goal to run a corporation and have fun.
