Realm Spies Whining

Yesterday someone logged on a lvl 1 unguilded char with a nick Aasdasdas and told me that a certain realm would raid dagda with date and time. He quickly logged of after and have no clue who it was, but how do you respond to stuff like this? Now im sitting here with (possible correct info) of a relic raid on dagda.

well by posting it here they will most likely move the raid to an other time or day . But i think ppl spying in alliance chat or other means of real spying is low (ofc just hearing it on a public irc channel or some other way of it stumbling on ur lap is ok). However something like this, dont know think you should be able to use it and later on maybe tell that side how you got the info.

You take a screenshot and report it, hopefully getting the sad git banned. It's in clear violation of the CoC and spoiling a lot of people's fun and enjoyment of the game.

Well basically any realm is cautious regarding relics these days. And when do people farm most RPS, exactly when they are indeed raiding on the relic. So knowing that they will come I would have let em come and farm em. But wouldn't be more active to try and see if it's true.

It's sad that someone with 2 accounts or using someone else's is abusing it actively to report it. It's hard to avoid it if it's send to yah by PM. What I do know is that it does both realms no good.

hehe no use at all to raid....if people know upfront there will be 100 defenders..so the 100 attackers will crash the server. Mythic better remove the relicraid thing from the game and let the relics "rotate" between the realms so everybody knows which months its fun to play his/her realm

I just heard yesterday that a well know char from albion have bought an account on on mid.

It came to our knowledge so we spread it out on severel alliances, so many of us knows about it.

Its sad that it should be this way it spoils the game.

the roughly 4000 players, are all hib/mid spies, so its 2000 spies from each realm, invading albion and ruining the game!!!! BLAME HIB/MID!!!!

i got told once by a alb that there wer a certain ammount of albs in odins.. lots... like around 70... and no1 had said anything in mid /as so i said it.. if albs are silly enough to tell me i have no hesitation of saying it, thos i did get uberflamed!

Best way to do it.....

....screenshot it, /send it to rightnow/mythic throuygh just about every channel...give em a link to here as well (though granted they prob wont read this)

they have a database of all previous chars on every account.

This blokes account will now have the name imprinted on his details...they search for it and ban him. If they really dig deep they could even look at his creditcard number and find out if its the same number as another character. If it is then you know who it was who did it and can ban their main as well

But wuren, very big /bow for saying so on here, shows behind that Firbolg exterior is really a bloke who wubbs those who he plays with, and so very honest at that

I dont think they can check creditcard number, only bank can. But they can check the ip that made the char and search for a ip that is the same

Ok they can check the ip. And then what? Ban him? The guy who created this lvl 1 char to give this info really deserved to be banned... not for sharing informations, but for being a mopron.
Thing is: Giving out informations like this ingame is just plain retarded. One visit in #gol or any other Albion Irc-channel would have had the same effect with no danger of being discovered/traced/banned.
There is no way to prevent people from sharing informations. The real interesting thing is, how we (i.e. all players and guilds on all three realms, who´re NOT relying on spys and outside informations) can deal with this situation. I can´t see a solution here atm. Can you?
