Realm caps

Can someone just explain realm capping to me? I have been playing around in Thidranki for a little while now and built up 72 RPs. I understand there is a realm cap of 350 so what does it actually mean to me if if I reach that limit whilst still being a lowly lvl 24?

When you reach RR1L4 wish means 350 Realm Points. You will no longer be able to port into Thid.

People with :-
over 350 Realm points
Level higher than 24
Level lower than 20

will not be able to port to Thid, when the wizards arrive you'll just be left on the pad looking very sad.

OK but does it affect anything else - such as claiming rps in the frontiers?

Nope, you're free to go to the frontier pretty much any time you like, just understand that most people in the frontier are L45+ so a poor little L24 is going to die an awful lot.

The purpose of the lower level battlegrounds were to introduce players to the RvR experience as safely as possible, hence the level and RP caps.

psst if you go into frontiers and get in a group that kills nasty enemy realmers you may quickly get realm points...so much so that you'll severely limit your time in thidranki, assuming you dont get well over your cap limit in a couple of kills :)

you should only get the maximum of 1 realm point per kill in thidranki...eg 350 kills
frontier rvr could easily decrease that to an unhealthy 35 kills :p

you might want to make the most of your thidranki days before they're gone forever :)

Dont think you get massive kills in the frontier at low level, im sure there is some kind of cap.

I managed to kill a L50 invader at L12... they were sitting down with no armour, and i missed loads.. but managed it in the end... and I got 1RP !!!
