i really don't understand why swindon gets such bad press, in comparison to many places i've been it's quite pleasant. yes, there are some extremely dodgy areas of swindon and parts of it look ugly as sin but it's the same with pretty much every town in the uk nowadays.

i get the impression someone once slagged off swindon and everyone just jumped on the bandwagon. where's mark lamarr gone?
