line-rp for reading this year is shite. 50cent playing sort of sums it up...

Alexisonfire
Avenged Svenfold
New Found Glory
Ash
Greenday
Morrissey!
Supergrass
Funeral for a Friend
Super Furry Animals
The Streets
Placebo
Greenday
Thursday
White Stripes
Reel Big Fish
The Hives
The Offspring
The Darkness

Just a few. Wide range of music in there, it's going to be a great event.

Then again I have a wide musical taste, I appreciate most styles...I don't follow musical "fashion".

The Dillenger Escape Plan, Auf de Mer and Avenged Sevenfold are the only bands there that is not god-awful.

Will i be publicly humiliated if i say New Found GLory pwn? Well, i say pwn, ive only heard one song, "dressed to kill" and i found it catchy. Used to like Greenday 10 years ago when i went thru the customary pubescent "mosher" stage. Not really heard much of the others, but can imagine it will be a top weekend. Still not a patch on creamfields tho :)

New Found Glory are decent, in fact I'm also going to see them just after Reading in Kentish Town forum, Yellowcard supporting.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a emo-fuelled teenager who cries in the audience, but they're pretty cool :)

Yes, 50 cent is playing, and that's not "cool" for most people...not a fan myself, but depending what else is on at the time I might go see it for an experience.
