Howdy,

My brother wants to play on Mordred or some other server? I'm doing my best to help but i'm stuck on a few things

I've installed the game up to Darkness Rising, then patched it, then changed the Update.Dat file in notepad so it points towards america. It all works as he played his friend account as a test.

What im stuck on is the way to obtain an account. I keep reading "Get a trial account, enter the cd key (can google this), then cancel the account/credit card details".

Could someone please explain on this?

1) when i load the program, do i enter the googled cd key on the Start screen?
2) How do i tell it a username and password to log on?
3) How do i convert a trial account into a proper one? What i mean is, how do i make it a monthly subscription account?

Load game client > click New Account > Enter cd key > enter account name/password (you get to choose it unlike GOA) > enter credit card details > go play.

Then go cancel the subs if you dont wana pay and continue playing
