They've been in the game for a while now and your only just starting to whine about them? The only thing thats changed is that they now have a glowy graphic which means they're easier to avoid :D

Either:
decrease radius
decrease duration
increase cast time & cost
make it so it only affects ppl inside it
make resists affect it
make it purgable
make NF SoS overwrite it
make everyone who casts it insta die

I changed it a little....I vote for 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8

5 would be bad for groups if some get rid of it earlier than others, 6, well...who would want to purge speedtrap?

btw, to the question why whine about them =)) cause for one time I have to agree, whining about them is fun =)) I hate them so much, I think I'm gonna macro this for TeamSpeak: "Maaaan, Speed Traps are the most useless crap in this game."

Who said they're easy to avoid, yeah nice, with their 3000+ radius :)

So stay 3000 units away from the glowy ward, its hardly difficult. The only times i'd say they're hard to avoid is when they've been setup in chokepoints (like an MG) but aside from that I really can't see it being that difficult to avoid them (not sure but I think you can destroy them as well now...)
