Hi all,

Soz about not replying sooner. Have been in a bit of a sulk The uni has placed all pcs behind a firewall, and I have not been able to connect since just before Xmas - Feck, and double feck

So, I have been arranging other Admins - BW have gone and got esp (who is a good player and will be an excellent Admin). This process has taken a bit of a time, but things are now moving...

I'll be back on line when I finish my studies, get a job, decent pc, phone line and modem - that will all take about a year

My kickass ping will go tho. uke: Still, how can I get the best connection? I'm in the UK, and it won't be for another year anyway :sleeping:

sorry to hear about you connection.... one of my mates enjoyed uni ping for about a month until they put it on a firewall aswell

Wish I could get some ports open. I asked about this, but they just laughed when I said it was for Q2 - the swine!

Anyway, been busy writing up my PhD, so that I can get it finished for end of Sept 2002, get a job, pc, cable and connect again!

Will get a good ping (40-60s) with cable, I think
