Good read for any SB's thinking about specs, has some good points.

My spec is going to be alot like biles, just a tiny bit higher stealth:

35 Stealth
41 Axe
39 Critical Strike
39 Left Axe
23 Envenom

requires me to auto train until 40, but im 30 and going fine with auto train so shouldnt be a problem.

Ye, he has sum points... but I don't like the idea to spec so high in LA just to get 2 useful styles (the 2 chain evade stun)

I find it works ok, am tempted to try 44 CS and drop LA to 15 (+15 from RR, +12 from DR2) and see how that works.

Low LA means insane variance, isn't that what they say? It's stupid to have different mechanics from the other realms' 2 weapon users, imo, especially with less spec points... <cough>

Im specing:

44 axe.
20 LA.
39 CS.
35 Venom/stealth.

Using DR2 at L50 is going to give me: 20 +11 (items) +12 (dr2) +1 (rr2 atm) = 44 LA.

And i get a pretty good base dmg from my LA using axe and crit styles.

Low env so using Magical Poisons and i Took ROH 2 , still like my laxe rare style and stun combo. With purge up nothing to fear

going to dump stealth to 32 with the next respecc stone, and get Env to 23.

50 cs 39 sword 34 la/stealth 11 envenom

its in remaking need 1 more respec stone

23 env? With +11 from items and say lowbie RR gives 35 env for example. Would these poisons stick or get resisted most of the time?

doesn't seem to be worse than with higher poisons.

btw.
i've heard its possible to get the autotrain points by doing /respec stealth
i did a /level 20 char, and didn't know it was possible to auto stealth since i did /level 20 etc.
now i'm lvl 29 and got 25 in stealth... will respeccing in stealth autotrain me at 40?
do i have to raise stealth to 40 at lvl 40, or what... ?
confused etc

How much xtra dmg do you squezze out of that low env temp compared to the dmg you loss from not having lifebane and the 118/118 debuff ?? I sure like those...

How does DR2 total 12 spec points in LA? I don't get it.

each point trained in LA increases your dmg by 0.5% [ i havent read yet if its your offhand dmg or main hand or both ] and training dualist reflexes you win 3% dmg and 3% chance to swing offhand , since left axe mechanics make zerkers and sbs land both hands always [ i said land not to hit] the chance to land offhand isnt nothing for LA users so DR = 6 LA same as mastery of blocking = 6 shield
correct me if im wrong

Doesn't actual LA spec also increase your style damage? Does DR do that or only increase the actual damage of the left hand swing? I thought that's the only thing it does and doesn't affect mainhand damage.

LA spec does increase style damage, DR doesnt.

But thats a moot point considering with 25 LA the only LA style your likely to use is Comeback (and I dont use comeback, cos with 39 CS spec, my Hamstring hits harder than Comeback).

DR1 = 3% base damage, == 6 LA trains
It doesnt increase the Style damage or decrease your offhand variance, but it reduces that nasty base damage penalty significantly.
