Just trying to get some RDRAM easy you may think?

But it aint

I ordered 2x 256mb sticks but there now out of stock in most places

Sooo I was gonna order 4x 128Mb.. other than having no room for adding more memory is there a problem with this?

I seem to remember reading that RDRAM has speed problems with using 4 slots? I dunno

Any advice greatfully received

TBH thats the main problem but with RDRAM its more of a problem as the memory is generally more expensive and thus you tend not to want to throw it away.

If you fill out four slots then your system may be less stable.
