Strange title, I know. They are the destinations I am considering for my 2006(!) holiday, but both are a little off the beaten track. Would be grateful if any posters have visited these places could cite good travel companies that visit these destinations.

I found a Cosmos tour that spent half a day at Mistra, but I was hoping for a little longer. Plus that tour spends 2-3 days in Athens which I am, as fate would have it, visiting later this year.

I'm sure it's possible to get there on a wing, a prayer and a battered phrasebook but (it must be the accountant in me) I like to get everything organised and arranged before the holiday. Then I just have to pack and get on the pre-arranged plane/coach/train to get to the pre-arranged hotel.

Any help/input would be appreciated, thanks.

You should go to Italy and stop past the Delle Alpi and see how footy is played properly :)

Albeit from a distance.......
