over mos3 on an assasin is a waste, over vanish 1, at high rr is a waste, purge 3 is good if you can afford the points.

if speaking up to rr5 what to aim for:
purge 2 is good
mos 3
lw1

these are things that is close to a requierment.

other good things to get is:
aug str
aug dex (if your a thrust user)
MoPain
second wind isnt a bad choise if you cant be botherd with timing endpots and totems

mos4/5 on an assasin is a waste for the simple reason that it dosnt work on other assasins.

for mid/hib stealthers it might be worth getting over mos 3 so you can see minstrels sooner, but i dont think its worth it.

as for spotting scouts, based on experience, i hardly meet a scout with cammo down (all archers will disagree now).

purge > evadestuns/sidestuns/slams and debuffs.

and I still disagree with Dwera Being able to spot the rangers/hunters at a greater range than they can see you is great (detect hidden (passive for assassins, 150range) + mos4 > all but mos5 and any mos5 archer is easy game).
