RA's for Healer,Skald and Hunter

Lo all,

now i finally have teh chance to respec some of the disasterous errors I made in my early career I'm asking advice from peeps:

All based on 1.65 DAOC if you can pls

Skald (50BS/43Hammer)...Actuity 2, MCL 1...after that I'm torn between melee and spell RA's...help here pls?

Healer (44 PAC or AUG/31 Heal)...no idea, this ones in the pipeline =)

Hunter (44 spear/40 bow/32 BC rest stealth)...this ones for keep defence only so...long and volley...no idea after that.

Assume I play all 3 to RR5 whats the best RA's and the best order to get them in?

answers on a postcard pls =)

I my self play an healer and an hunter so i'll tell you my thoughts / experience:

healer
MCL 1 (3)
Purge (10)
PR (14)
Acuity 1-2 (1-4)
Wild healing 1-2 (1-4)

This is kinda the starters set if you ask me... After that's it's a bit what you wanna do, Think you'll know what to get by then.

Hunter
As keeptake/defence Hunter volley is a nice way to get loads of rp's and do something usefull :)

After that I'd go for Purge (10), nothing is more iritating then dieing by dot or being stunned and slowly killed bit by bit
Ignore pain (3+6+10)/ valcon's Eye are nice, though you might go for avoid pain as well...
Again, after the starters set you'll know what you want

MCL
purge
perfect recovery
wild healing
avoidance of magic
avoidance of magic2
Augment acuity 2
serenity
wild healing 2
augment acuity 3
mastery of the art
mastery of the art 2
mcl 2
mastery of concentration
raging power
toughness
mastery of healing
mastery of healing 2
toughness 2
wild healing 3


Stick in long wind at the start if you group with shamans with less than 42 aug.

i went the same way but took lifter1 instead of serenity1 :p

On the skald, u sure u gona go 50bs 43weapon? think about it

Aug dex or what the prereq for MoPxxx is

Might change Toughnes for 2 steps in aug str maby

Imo 46BS, 44weapon, 17parry is even after 1.65 the win especialy with hammer since u gte in a billion lambasts wich hurts

btw... 50 hammer :/ ... if u want 50 weaponspec go for sword... ragnarock is just uber =)



(go for jarl spec if u are a soloer, if u are grp skald, go for this one imo)

none of these specs for RA seem to take into account the improved BS line in the 1.65...it seems that the new screams are worth having hence 50 BS/ whatever weapon 39-44/rest parry,

I was going to build my RA's around the shouts, all these are around melee.

I wouldn't bother with IP on a hunter, it's a shedload of points for the odd chance of survival. Generally if you have to use it you'll die to the "adds" anyway.

Get Falcons eye instead, more damage = more RPs

When new skald uppgrades go live 50 weapon, even sword will be gimped on dmg.

Even today 44weapon 46BS is more dmg then 50weapon rest BS simply cus the 6weaponskill and new style u get do les dmg then yer shouts do at 46BS compared to 43BS.

For soloing skald high parry is neeto 44weapon 46bs 17parry.
For grping maby u want to go down to 5parry to get 47weapon 46bs 5parry. It might make u do 1% more dmg or so.

50weapon after patch is kinda silly i think, a skald in a grp have a much more important role in a grp then just beeing a taxi(speed5 tm) and try to assist random savagetrain. Imo a skalds role in a grp is to interupt and making yer enemies support useles. In a normal 1FG V 1FG I basicly keep all healing support interupted the tanks on our supportclasses snared.
Think even the FOTM savage grps Iw been in agree that skalds work uber this way.


PS.
BS50 after skald love patch give u a lvl 50DD suppose to hit like a momo wich is cool, BUT now when the DDs are down to 15sec recycle i dunno if u can keep casting it to interupt. DDs, melee, mez for interupts, snare is saved for tanks on support. so it gona empty yer pow fast i gues.
