ok i love playing ranger type classes on these sort of games (scout on daoc etc ). and as im new i dont know what i should do.
Ive read through some other boards and i got the impression that mithra are the better race for a ranger, but as people say, "there isnt a better class, its how u want to play" thats why i would want to chose an elveen race, because i like the look of them

So i got my race .... now what do i need to chose ? i saw people talking about thiefs and warriors as rangers ...... can anyone explain please ?
and are there any rangers out there now ?

One thing i can say to you about ranger is that they are a VERY expensive class to keep going as every arrow and bullet you fire costs gil.

Your best bet is to read some guides.
There are primary and 2ndary classes and its quite complicated.
Having Reanger primary and Warrior secondary will increase your melee ability although i would have though you would want to be killing stuff before it got to you.
Thief sounds a good 2ndary as it gets you extra coin which is apparently handy for rangers.
