Just one thought, your low stealth. You will be spotted a mile off by enemy stealthers and not be able to detect them, I suppose it all depends if your going to be a solo ranger or a group ranger. I have made my ranger becuase i am so bored of getting run over by zergs so i have tried to plan my 50 spec as pure solo. Therefore is 50 bow worth it if your going to be a group spec ranger? No problems with your SC template though except the random items, wrist and gem. Imo it is best to get all your items before you think about what you put on your armor. Warshade is a pretty good bracer but on mine i plan to use the izthar bracer of strengh (off my hero) and stealth (from quest). Gem, i found the DF one to be pretty good. But i am still not sure, rangers are very hard to spec i think, there are so many variants.

My future spec btw (non SC, naked)
And yes i plan on using a buff bot and i dont care

use Stout lether belt.
use Gem from 1.62 quest (check that to make sure it better but i think it is)

Also

BAD to put dex on bow as you are duplicating it, as you need it for bow and melee. Put as much RB on your BOW as you possibly can.

just a quick question as I'm a fool about these things....Is it really worth putting +11 on your recurve bow if your planning to spec it to 50 anyway? Ok so you'll be able to hurt those higher lvl mobs abit more but oh well...I'm probably missing somthing

I was under the impression that dmg cap was based upon your spec vs the level of your opponent. i.e. if lvl 50 vs 50 spec then you do 120% dmg (pls note I'm making this up, cannot remember the numbers I read ages ago) and if spec = within 90% or so of targets lvl you do 100% dmg, erm...(struggling now)...75-89% of target lvl you do, ermm, 90% dmg...err....perhaps i should of looked all this up first before I tried posting eh?

ah right, this is sort of what i was trying to get at...also explains why I always thought it was based upon MY lvl not opponents but somone told me differently and it seemed to make sense.....I dunno, maybe this is different for bows as it's based upon melee I think

If you have NO trains in your weapon at all, each swing may do 25% to 125% of X in damage. X is equal to the result of a complex formula, taking into account weapon quality, condition, bonuses, your strength or dex, the opponent’s armor, and some other things.

If you have trained up to 2/3 of your level in your weapon, each swing may do 75% to 125% of X.

If you are trained up to your level, each swing may do 100% to 150% of X.

solo ranger - even with buffbot, go 5 spec, dmg add is ok really

sniper ranger - screw cd and go high stealth/bow

and guys, do not go blades, go pierce imho

ur SC armor is ok, but correct me if i'm wrong, can't see no +CD.

u'll want atleast some chance to duel wield if u decide to make a ranger whos able to solo and group.

Thats 10% wasted, i can see its all from the acessories, but see if you can switch something with high thrust resist bonus for something that gives you better overall bonuses

you have used the ixthiar skin bracer of silent resistance and the ixthiar skin bracer of strenght, you can get 2, you can only get one unless u trade ( which i think u cant) and as a ranger you get the silent resistance one.

They can be traded, its the rings that arent although this may change next patch.

well,i have really tried to find a way to lower thrust and and find an item that is obtainable (not a random item ;p ) but it seems impossible,any help on this is appreciated

and btw,well,i might spec to this then instead

path 21 (for 4.2 dps dmg add)
stealth 35 (with +11 and rr 5 thats well enough )
cd 11 (for nicer taunt that with pierc,pve farming in thaught)


this should be my final spec afaik
dont need any +cd then

yes even as celt. pierce is 50/50 str/dex and due to higher str and same dex as elphs and luwis u should have an advantage, also the bladestyles sux.
if u spec blades u get no stun at all and only one evade style with follow up from CD at lvl 7 and 11 or so. pierce givs a stun atleast.
