Ranger question

Im getting a lot of different comments on whats the best way to build up a celt ranger. Im kinda going the way I think its the most fun and not the most effective.. cause lets face it... there are 151512 perfect ways

But I would like to see some opinions on the following

piercing or blade?

putting most of the points on bow and pathing, and then on about lvl 20ish putting on stealth aswell?

almost same as above but also raising celt wield and piercing/blade?

Would appreciate any comments on this

Have you seen creasent reaver or pestilent sickle? MAN THOSE WEAPONS ARE COOL!!!! Blades all the way man.

Max bow, then at lvl 25(time for your first yggdra hunt ) put some 50-100 points in stealth.

maxing path is unnessecary as I see it put some few leftovers in blade (you can really use with taunts or a detaunt), dunno about the celt dual.

cheers mate.. so basicly you say, Max bow, ignore piercing, put some on blade, put a bit more on stealth and some on pathing?

slashing weapons are blades right?

And I thought Pathing was really good, due the nice self buffs.

the selfsbuffs are nice but you shouldn't max it, dunno really exactly how high compared to you level you should keep it...
The stealth is only used for RvR and before you go there no need to put any points in it.
More on path then on blade, played with 2 rangers yesteryday with 6 and 11 in pierce(they were lurikeens) and they were doing nice damage. In realm versus realm you are gonna use your bow primary as you are not standing much chance against any other class that are yellow con in close combat.
Celtic dual are to be kept at half your weapon level I think some guys have calculated.

I am no ranger though but I was planning on making one with this template

39 slash
35 stealth
29 path
29 celtic dual
I do not recommend it

There are lots of ranger guides out there so not hard to find one.

thanx for the tip, been trying to find some guides here and there but it seems im cluless this days... just missed the guild post for example
