Ranger and delay between each shot

I ma not a whiner and I am not acusing anyone by making this post. I just state what I have experiensed and that is:

Scenario: 1. I shoot Mus, Mid ranger (?) I shoot him twise just to see him shoot me 3 times back and kill me.

2. I watch him kill others by what looked me to me 4 shots in 10 secs. AND I would never make a post here if I had not watched and experiensed something ingame myself first.

So my question is: What is the delay between each shot for you Mus, or any of you archers out there?

Crit shot for me, with buffs so I had 255 dex was 5.5 and normal shot 4.5 I think. Still with advantage of having first shot I was killed to his bow. And no I did not miss my shots.

Longbow has long draw time = mega-dmg

If u wanna copy Mus tactics get a Alb hunters bow crafted for u which has lower draw times and crit times and less range / dmg

Personally i'll carry one of each on my scout (31 and rising )when its time for her to RvR. Some circumstances ur better off with a hail of slightly weaker shots than the max dmg.. Also max out on +qui items for reduced drawtimes.

Every +6 to qui = .1 second less drawtime (without reducing dmg) iirc

One of the other realms get Recursive bows. These r basically machinegun bows, seems this is what u were hit with. If Mus is 50 then it wont take many hits to kill u even with a weak bow.

ur draw time is based on your quickness so u need to compare that stat

also longbows take longer to draw than the hib/mid equivalent,

AND mid/hibs can also use other bows (like the hunting bow in alb) that have an even quicker firing time, so 10 secs for 4 shots is quick, but belivable.

From what I've heard I think Rangers get the fastest draw time in the realm...

Speeds of up to 2.5s per shot are reachable

I'd suggest next time, more range... They might have speed but lack the range... We lack speed, but have range (and damage)...

rangers (when buffed and all) their lowest draw time is 2.5sec, if you are a scout (admit it, most albs have one as an alt) try to get as high qui and dex you can, hell marry a cleric (wuvly buffs) and get a player made hunters bow, long bow is for range and single shot, hunters bow is for, well hunting quick sucession shots, i think it is possible to get 2.5sec draw, but its hard cause we dont get our own dex/qui buffs

buy a huntbow from Odysseus (for shooting casters)
and dont play with speed 5.5 bows...

Eldric told me Forest Lord was best bow till 46 ..

cauz of his good speed (5.3)
high lbs (3.6)
good stats (+X longbow +X quickness +X dex)
100% quality (good for dmg)

For me Trapp (50 ranger) crit is 4.0 and normal is 3.3
