Range on Buffs in New Frontiers

That mythic finally have come to the conclusion that the buffsystem is getting a lookover and "Range" and "group" requirement on consentration buffs will be implemented in a patch following NF.
If it is true Daoc will surely be worth while playing again!

Most likely not true.. goa earn money from all the people who not only have 1 main account, but also a buffbot account.. I don't see why they would risk losing that income just because it might even out the game for those who haven't got one, or because others think bb's are unfair.

Even if they did range the buffs, the amount of cancelled accounts would be negligible. I wouldn't cancel my bots - I still use em in PvE.

Wont happen, out of 5 guys, 1 has a buffbot. Thats an extra payment / month. Why would they put range on buffs? It would bring in less money and piss off people cause they dont have the best buffs?

I had access to 2 buffbot accounts,but atm I got only 1 account for buffing pleasure,which means it has nothing to do with fair/unfair/afford mechanism in my aspect.And yes,I want(or need) buffbots to be nerfed into oblivion so that an infil can't evade 8 out of 10 of my ranger's arrows etc.I want my 40 PF back

Lol, why do I rvr mostly with an inf and minstrel?
Calling a pre rr5 minstrel overpowered is a bit stupid, maybe once they reach rr5 and higher they are a nice force, but before that they lack the RA's they need to excel.
I did play an inf, when I got fed up with See Hidden and the effect it was having on my scout (who was rr7 btw...)
But I guess the 300 word limit on the sig prevented me from writing inactive behind each toon, so I opted for (active).
But I guess that was a bit tough for you to comprehend...
Don't talk about things you do not know off, like how I played a slash inf before the 1.62 LA nerf, when you could hardly talk about overpowered infs...
And the end game does not evolve around stealthers, it evolves around fg vs fg imho. And yes, in that department Albs have been lacking for too long.

question yourself this then, what will be of the rogues?
Rogues depend on buffbots as it is now. And will be even more gimped then they are. Sad that it has to be that way but it is a fact.
And imo might very well have been a intentional thing also. ka´ching. $$$

Soloers may have to look for unbuffed targets grp targets/targets attacking a keep will be a waste of time attacking.

aslong as the overall game mechanics isnt overlooked/fixed its not a viable solution.

well its not really up to goa to change anything but i guess they are on the big fat french knees sucking and praying for mythic not to change it
