Random Lockups

Recently Ive been getting random lock-ups (usually whilst using Windows Media Player) on XP Prof. Does anyone no what log file I can look at to see what the offending program/driver is?

2K has logs accessable from Control Panel -> Admin Tools -> Event Viewer, hopefully it's not been moved.

Nope it is still there, look under the different event sections.
