Random LDs?

Mind you this is on US, but anyway. when i rvr - i can rvr for 1 hour, 4 hours, its totaly random. but all of a sudden the game "freezes" for a few secounds and then i quit back to desktop. no messages no nothing. and if that happens more then 2 times a night. i get render creation failed (a restart fixes this but still its annoying). anyone heard/know of this problem?

I have had this problem but it was many years ago and it turned out to be a dodgey MB - It was addressing the processor incorrectly - Was easy fix for me till new board arrived i just stepped down the speed and that fixed it while i waited for new board. However It could just as easy be video or driver issue have u checked the application logs and sys eroor logs for any clues ?

No errors there that could indicate anything. and how do you "step down the speed" as you call it?

Usually a jumper on mobo - Kick it down to 100mhz and work up over from there --- All settings should be in mobo manual if you dont have manual justy visit manufacters site and DL one.

Might not be the issue but its always worth testing these things out.

Also be sure to adjust bios settings if required As I say though all this info should be in manu manual.
