Random computer resets and crashes to desktop.

Well you have seen my post's and ive told ive took it too the shop to be looked at.

At first they said it was the motherboard,and i think they have changed it.

And they have now said its my radeon 9800 pro which i bought for 160pounds

They give me a Geforce fx 5800which cost 200...will see how things go,installing stuff now.

edit - he also put some new fans in...gave me about 60 quids worth of stuff free,pwned

I had this Problem too. Random crashes to the Dektop. My Cpu was overheating. Fixed the problem with new cooling paste.

I would be interested to know if all or most of the people who have this or similiar problem have a nforce2 motherboard.

I have an nForce 2 motherboard and nps at all

I've finally fixed my problem!!!!!!

It was the KVM switch - for some reason it was causing a problem with the computer, monitor and drivers that just made the bastard crash all the time. Ah well, at least its fixed now :bazbeer:
