Ram team protection

Is there any possibilty to gather some jewelery and drops with good resists to enemy pbaoe spam and give it to the people who are usaly setting up the rams?
I think this would safe alot of time and make them farm less rps during our efforts.

That would require resists really work, which i think they dont.
I could be wrong but wasnt there a update on resists on an upcoming patch.
Im pretty damn sure mind resist (or whichever is for mez and crap) doesnt work at all.

Forget it.

There is only one way of doing it right.

1. Better have the ram builder really strong troll thane, who can actually move a bit while carrying the ram. That way all the parts can be handed over to him while not yet being deadly close to the door. That cuts time of being in the killing zone by a considerable margin. If you cant get a troll thane, try to get shaman buffs. Also, in 1.48, wood requirement for all siege weaponry is halved, so any reasonably strong individual will be able to move while carrying a whole ram.

2. have on, better two healers staying locked at the ram builder while he builds the ram.

3. have the ram builder step back, to the line of outer door as soon as the ram pops on the ground, he will then be out of range for the PBAoE from inside the keep.

4. have a 2nd person stand near the ram controller, so as soon as the controller dies, the 2nd man can take over and continue using the ram.

The building time of a ram is just about 20 seconds. All you have to do is keep the builder alive during that short period.

Well, if resist is bugged forget about my idea.

I will prolly never be able to setup a ram due to my crappy armor, low hit points and strength. But if I am with you at a keep taking you will always find me near the rams repearing them! Thats the best contribution I can do I guess.
