RA3 prob

When I try to join an RA3 server I get as far as the awaiting challenge screen, the numbers just keep going up and I don't get connected....

Does anyone know what is causing this and how to solve it?

Are you on an network? If so, try

/reconnect

at the console.

If you are behind a firewall, you may need to enable the q3 authorisation server

192.246.40.56 on ports 27950 to 27979 at least. Plus other gaming ports, depending on what mods you play.

Daz 2k, can you play on vanilla (normal) Quake3 DM and CTF servers?

There's been a problem the past few days that only affects people behind a router . . . works fine if connected directly.
