Playing Call of Duty, BF1942 etc etc ias all fun and well, but its all to easy to forget the real soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice over the years.
Yeah I have a lot of respect for all the fallen soldiers, my grandad was a policeman so he was in a protected occupation, but he had to deal with the results of air raids etc.
And the people who died/ are still dieing in Iraq and wherever else in the world. Yes the world wars were terrible but there is still just as much dieing/killing going on as we speak.
God Bless All, we had a 2Min today. I have to say I was furious at a certain member of our company who would NOT respect the silence. I just cant help but feel sorry for him and his religion!!!
I was in a town centre a couple of years ago and I found it quite remarkable when it came to a complete stop. Though the woman beside was almost in tears when three teenagers came through laughing and smoking. Incidently, I don't think this was symptomatic of all teenagers.
