Sad news, J G Ballard, supreme author has passed away at the age of 78.

Most known for his works Empire of the Sun and Crash he was a genuine visionary, with a lot of his works predicting rapid declines in both environmental and social concerns.

He had been battling illness for several years. Such a shame. At least he has left a legacy of fine work behind.
