Legendary Tottenham Hotspur manager Bill Nicholson, who guided Spurs to the first league and Cup Double of the 20th century, has died at the age of 85.

The lsat, and probably only great manager we've had has gone.
First manager since the war to win the double, first manager to win a major European trophy with a British team, never got knighted and now will never be able to be Sir Bill Nick as he should be known.

He stayed at Spurs all his career, and all his life as he lived right by the ground and was on our board after he had finished his managerial career.

Scored on his England debut after about 20 seconds or so, but was never picked again! :eek7:

He already has several tributes to him around the stadium and his own road named after him. I'm sure there will be plenty more forthcoming now. May he rest in peace.
