Well only just got round to trying it out lol ....

just a couple of problems i have with it

1. Invert mouse is always on and its so dam anouying but from the cfg i can't see where to turn it off and its a pain to have to do it each time i enter a game

2. i am getting major ping spikes leaving me completely easy target .. my ping is normaly 40 - 60 is ..... but i keep getting the modem sign on th right of the screen and i lagg out BADLY lmao

3. And the mouse speed is like FECKING hell ... waayyyy to quick ..

could you please tell me where i ajust these in the config

dunno the cmd, make sure your cfg isnt on read only, change the setting in the menu, and your cfg should remember it (backup your cfg first)

2.
if its happening lots its probably your isp rather than a setting, try a different isp, also try qizmo if you already havent, its a proxy which may help with routing to stop the spikes.

the sensitivity cmd is /sensitivity xx, try something low like under 10, if that doesnt help check your windows mouse settings.

Well the ping spikes will be down to the fact that cfg has
rate "10000"
This is fine if you use compression (Qizmo)
There will be a link to Qizmo on www.udpsoft.com (I think)

just use rate 5000 cl_maxfps 0 for now until you get the hang of qizmo (its too complex for you right now).

It all seems better now BUT the invert mouse thing still happens

Invert is something you should try to get used to but to turn it off

Invert get used to dam after playing online for 2 years with it set off on Unreal and UT that will take a bit of getting used to lol

Best Mods where to get um , best servers with the best players on that dont make it to hard on a n00bie

Well barrysworld is the only place in the uk people play regularly because other servers are quite laggy.
although if ur really so new you might wanna spend a while on a server like Axes ffa 194.109.6.220:27500
it's not uk but ur ping should still be fine. lots of people lots of newbies lots of frags. :>

Well i tried it got 0w3n3d badly but its fun ... still have a problem with the invert mouse .. but i will problerly keep at it


AXE's ffa is a netherlands server if i am correct i used to play on there 2 years ago b4 i hit the UT scene
