Who many times an Alb has to beg a cleric-caster in rvr to have some bufs ??

I will never ask again for a buf in rvr not even by ppl in my group.
Is just pointless. Every one plays for him self and thats hurts me a lot, ignoring that the game is to cooperate with other ppl (From group -> guild -> Learm).

If you want to play solo rvr just tell the others not to count on you, at least thei will not count on someone that will not be there when is needed.

Can any one tell me were the hell all the clerics disappear at rvr batles?

From my observations I'd say the Cleric is 1st guy to run away in battle, so if you want to find him, he'll be waiting at the PK for next wave of reinforcements to come and accompany him to come rez you.

Either that or they're down the front trying to smite-reveal all the shadowblades who are at the back chasing the guys running back to the PK.

Gotta say I aint been RvR in Albion yet but that doesnt sound like the way I a)played in Hib and b)will play in Alb.

As far as I can tell, a non-smite specced cleric is a buff and/or heal machine, and even a smite-specced cleric is to some extent. Are you really saying that RvR, clerics do not heal their teammates, nor do they buff them before a big raid? That sounds very strange to me.

Could it be in battle that they are taking hits and cannot heal? In my time on Hib, we allways buffed up before we left the keep and ensured that during down-time, we checked each others buffs. We also healed during combat or, quite simply, you will die

Clerics buff their groups. Just randomly begging buffs from them won't work very well

If I'm missing a specific buff which I could use and there's a cleric around, I'll normally ask politely if I can have one.

Theurg and Wiz buffs are fire and forget anyways, so I always bug people for those if they are nearby.

However, I was killed three times yesterday while our PK was being camped. This should never have happened, and with -one- halfway decent heal each time I would never have been killed.

Basically a lot of clerics are selfish and safe their instas for themselves. That's kinda fair enough - but saving mana "for smiting" isn't really fair when one small heal will save the life of one of your team-mates thereby saving you the mana for a rez!

It's self defeating to refuse to heal even if you are a full smiter, because you'll still be on low power after you have to rez your mates and they'll be pissed off with you

Maybe do what everyone else does, fight/heal until you're exhausted, then go rest... Simple as that really.

My instas are very rarely used outside my group; one of them can't be, and in a battle you normally don't find yourself targeting other Albs. That said I will try to heal if it's obvious someone needs it, and I'm not busy with something else at that moment.

I tend to avoid rezzing people myself, partly due to the fact that it's insanely power inefficient for me, so if there's a paladin/rejuver nearby I'll let them handle it

Seems to me that clerics turn from the nice healing-buffing fellows they are in PvE into crazed lightning calling loonatics in RvR. I heard a tell in guildchat the other day... "30 albs lie dead and the smites rain down", that's basically how it works.

That's so true ! I think it's all the repression being loosed from having to say "ok what's your loc?" for 49 levels of rezzing. Suddenly they freak and start behaving like firewizards on some very bad acid.
