Welsh is definately more difficult. I can actually follow the lyrics, even though I don't understand them. Welsh is just completely incomprehensible :)

But you've not lived till you've heard "Ice, Ice Baby" in Latvian... :(

Welsh and Gaelic are distantly related as celtic languages, but Welsh is not a form of Gaelic. Welsh normally regarded as been more closely related to Cornish and Breton, while Scots and Irish Gaelic are related (the Irish Gaels collonised the West coast of Scotland in the Dark Ages and probably before).

Excellent !

Dún do chlab, dún do bhéal, éist le mo scéal
Má cheapann tú go dtuigeann tú tá tú cur i géill
Tá mé ag dul thú a bhomhradh, ceangail mé le slabhra
Guile a mhac, ná bí caint cac anseo i lár an samhradh
Súistín búistín buile beaga shúistín
Ná bí a phlaidhca no gheobhaidh tú a leice
Níl mé ag iarraidh éisteacht le do chac bó
Damhsa damhsa gan aon stró
Buachaillí gránna, cailíní beaga dána
Ní thugann mise áird ar na Gárdaí síochána
Ar an gCeathrú Rua, amuigh anseo faoin tuath
Léim anois, léim anois, léim anois go luath

Má tá sé mí-cheart, má tá sé mí cheart
Is cuma liom is cuma liom, léimigí thart
Léim thart
Éirigh as do pholl is léim thart
Léim

Freastailfidh mé thú ar nós John McEnroe
Má shúileann do bhean shuas buaileadh mé an ho
Cá bhfuil do chlann ,cá bhfuil do cháirde ?
Cá bhfuil an ceol? Suas níos airde.
Aus díreach ar nós uisce te , tá mé a'bruith
Má fheiceann tú mise ag tíócht b'fhearr dhuit bheith rith
Mar tá mé ar nós 'Tom Cruise' sa scannán sin 'top gun'
Ní stopfaidh tú mise leis an shotgun
Má dheanann tú is gaoita thú agus beidh tú i do staic
Ní éireoidh tú arís agus sin é an chraic
Anois é mo stoir
Éist le mo Ghlor
Amach ar an urlar ar nós Peigín Leitir Moir

Curfá

Is mé an fear is fearr ,sea tá mé tharr barr
Ní fheicfidh tú mise i mo sheasamh ins an lár
Ná an deireadh ach an oiread , an taobh eile don droichead
Má thagann said chomh fada liom cuirfidh mise soir iad.
Amach ar an bportach agus iad ag baint mhóna
Déardaoin, Dé hAoine Dé Sathairn is Dé Domhnaigh
Suas suas is síos agus arais arís
Glan do straois , tá sé salach agus clúdaigh le smaois
Comh héadrom le cleite, comh te leis an leite
Fanach tú é nó togfaidh mé é uaite.

it sounds dutch to me,
guess thats due to dutch sounding like some odd mix of scandinavian, english and german too

Aye, well... Yeah. I'd love to see the literal translation though.
I saw him live yesterday and he performed it, frigging awesome :)
