What the Font may help you graphical types in finding out fonts. I dont know if its any good as I dont do this type of thing, but I stumbled across this one day and thought it sounded good.

What the Font is pretty handy, but its still pretty unreliable at identifying standard serif/sans fonts. Its fantastic for finding the names of more obscure/unique ones though.
