I am currently flying a dominix.

On the ship info it says I get 10% bonus to drones Hp and Damage per level.

Per level of what? Gallente Battleship?

TIA

Yes (iirc).

Think all the ships give 2 bonuses per level of whatever is required to fly them.

T2 ships give one bonus at skill for ship & then 1 for the sub class required:

IE- Recons have 1 @ recon skill & 1 @ cruiser skill.

Been a while mind so I may be flat wrong or just nearly wrong.

Yep. It's always a bonus per level of whatever skill, unless it's a Role Bonus or some Special Ability.

So at Gallente BS5 you get 1.0 + (0.1 * skill level) drone damage.

Yep

Domi's munch lvl 4 missions and plexes with tech2 sentry drones btw. It's a good month's training to get there but so worthwhile.

Most Gallente ships really benefit from good drone skills. The Myrm, Ishtar and Domi in particular

I read somewhere that tech2 heavy attack drones are better than sentry drones. But anyway, I can do lvl 4 missions with tech 1 drones, but in 7 days I will have my first tech 2 drones. Once I have all my faction tech 2 drones, im training for a command ship :D

well, sentry drones are stationary so they cant move if they get outside optimal range.

aye

Not normally a big problem in missions.

Sentry drones with good skills will destroy just about any lvl 4 mission :)

Also, how do I transfer stuff between characters on my account, can I mail them?

Want to start up a toon for manufacturing, trading and what not.

Can you not do it via a contract?

yep, thats where CCP gets the real cash from. forcing ppl to pay twice or tripple subs if they want to play more then 1 character.

never really understood why we couldn't train more then 1 character per account.

well if you're making a bot for something specific you can always do a buddy account and then transfer the toon over once it's all sorted.

Well have the point is to play 2 chars at a time for different roles. Not unlike buffbots in daoc (2 buffbots if mid)

I have no problem with paying for more than one account tbh. Very tempted to start a second account for crafting, though its something I need to do some research on, ie how to craft :)

Profit margin for manufacturing/production on t1 stuff in EVE is pretty razor-thin, however decent ISK can still be made on t2 invention and production

Yes you play EVE, so use EVE lingo. This isn't a fantasy mmo :p

iskies can be made fairly easily mining however - but that's a two char job and boring as hell :)

I'd look at market pvp or invention tbh.

You can make money quite easily by looking at rens and jita markets then following the old capitalist truism of buying cheap and selling high by choosing items that are significantly cheaper or more exensive.

Another thing you can do is look at low sec hubs (agil) and again buy cheap in jita or a.n.other market hub and then pootle it down to agil (highsec) and sell it there to all the 0,0 livers who cba to make the 18 jumps to jita themselves. You should be able to make a good 20% margin on mods and ammo.

My mate is making a shit load of profit on building some torpeodes. Takes him 3 days to make 150k of them and they sell within 24 hours and he clears best part of 20m isk profit.

look at the price of faction ammunition in Jita, Nonni and Agil.

You might find that some items (say emp L) sell for upwards of 1000 isk per unit. Considering that if you buy an EMP L blueprint and just run it unresearched you can easily collect loot from your wrecks in missions and reprocess it to make EMP L which you can then trade in for Republic fleet EMP L and sell on the market at low sec jump out points for significant profit.

If your friend is making torpedoes then I strongly suggest that for every 10k Torps he sells on the market I suggest he trades another 10k in for faction torpedoes (caldari navy juggernaught for instance) which cost a modicum of LP and watch his profits soar.

Faction ammunition is hot property in eve. In Jita there's always loads but I know for a fact that about 10 alliances use Agil regularly. It's high sec (so no worries about pirates) and 5 jumps away from hed-gp and about 8 jumps away from a1- . Considering that CVA, -A-, Atlas, U'K, Goons along with various smaller alliances like Paxton and Rebellion are all active in the area and that most pvp pilots really cannot be arsed to go 18 jumps to Jita or 8 jumps to Agil to save say 30% in price and you have a very profitable little market to look at.

Vehan is one of the low sec jumpout points for Fountain. I think anyone stocking the local market next to Vehan would do fairly well.

There is tons of cash to be made in Eve by just buying cheap in Jita, Rens or Amarr, transporting what people need close to 0.0 and selling on the open market.

Concentrate on pvp modules. Best named points, damage controls, shield extenders. Those are the sorts of thigns to look at along with popular rigs.

if you don't know what's popular go to SHC and look at war & politics. Check out the losses on the killboards and you'll see what the alliances closest to your area are fitting.

Invest small first - so it doesn't hurt too much if you get suicide ganked in 0.5 space or it doesn;t sell.

Also look at market history and see how "busy" systems are. If you find the places where lots of stuff is bought and sold then you'll find a place where there may be an opportunity to make a killing.
